If you are tired of traditional martial arts internet forums — you know, those too-typical, semi-literate wordfests where every thread contains at least one trash talking troll who makes sure that the “discussion” devolves into fruitless ad hominem, and where intelligent discourse concerning technique, training, and real-world conditioning are too often lost in childish disciplinary pissing contests — than this is the place for you.
The American Catch Wrestling Members Club is for people who aren’t interested in taunts from cyber know-it-alls. Instead, what you’ll get is legitimate training tips and tools, constructive criticism, and answers to all your questions from Tony, members of his instructor program, and experts in conditioning, strength training, striking, and more.
In addition to a supportive and informative forum, members have access to Tony’s internet TV show (including a library of past TV and Radio shows) where at least once a week Tony talks about real world self-defense, gives demonstrations on how to tweak submission holds to turn them into proper hooks, and discourses on everything from the physiology and kinesiology of, say, the double wrist lock, to the psychology of the street fight.
More, members can upload video clips for group member review — be it clips of moves they want to learn to counter, or short clips of their own training — and receive quick, constructive feedback that will aid in their training.
Serious about your training? Join the American Catch Wrestling Members Club and make sure you’re training is truly productive.
Here’s a sampling of what’s inside! Tri-C grad and certified catch instructor Brian Klaus shot and posted to the forum of the Members’ Club this short video featuring his double wristlock throw and finish:
